Harry Redknapp

MANY Pompey fans have called him a Judas. Some have taken their hat off to the man who, let’s face it, did turn around the fortunes of the club meaning fans have been able to enjoy their colourful presence in the Premiership.

Myself a fan, I was just shocked.

The problem, well for me, is that Harry Redknapp is Pompey. I’m shocked managers can just flit from one club to another with just a few hours notice. Seeing Harry with his new team hours after deserting Pompey was a very bitter pill to swallow. The pill was even harder to swallow when his new team won!

But this is football and passions run deep. I just hope Pompey ride out this storm. The team put in a spirited performance yesterday, which showed hope they can move on without Harry … sure it’s going to be a bumpy ride over the coming weeks, but fingerscrossed Pompey will continue to be a colourful force in the Premeriship. 

Here’s really hoping they are.
