Interesting interview with Joel Meyerowitz here
To me he is one of the most important street photographers of the last century. I simply love his work, especially the fact it is shot in colour.
There’s a quote I want to pick out from the interview:
… walking out into the street, I kept seeing moments frozen in time: people sticking out a hand for a taxi, or pausing momentarily to look into a shop window, suddenly seemed framed, and infinitesimally frozen for the camera. Innocent everyday non-incidents, became stop time moments…
